Un palazzese di suceso. ARNALDO DOMENICO PALUMBO per Vincenzo Progida (Libero Accesso nº 69, Febbraio 2007, La pagina pensante) In memoria ed in onore di Arnaldo Domenico Palumbo, palazzese di origine, coniugato con Giulia Rosaria Progida in data 4/10/1956, anch’ella palazzese, emigrati anni or sono in Brasile (San Paolo). Uomo dal singolare ingegno e dalle straordinarie capacità imprenditoriali approdato in terra straniera, si è distinto tra tanti con onestà e prestigio lasciando, anche dopo la sua scomparsa, avvenita il 6 gennaio 2006, rispetto e ammirazione per la sua persona in tutti coloro che lo hanno conosciuto. All’uopo a voi tutti palazzesi, amici e parenti, propongo con stima e affetto un articolo pubblicato dalla rivista Brasiliana Abracaf (Associazione brasiliana dei concessionari di automobili Fiat) al fine di ricordare il palazzese ... noto come ‘Mimmo Palumbo’.  Primo presidente, fondatore dell’Associazione e responsabile per l’aggregazione della rete dei venditori della Fiat. ...Palumbo è stato uno dei maggiori imprenditori nel settore automobilistico brasiliano e fu decorato cn la medaglia al Merito dall’assembeal legislativa dello Stato di San Paolo, nel dicembre del 1982.(da LIBERO ACCESO: mensile di Palazzo San Gervasio)

Busco el lugar de nacimiento de mi abuelo Antonio Pisano nacido el 26 de febrero de 1883 creo que en Calabria sus padres son Pasquale Pisano y Maddalena d`Crisci emigraron a Uruguay. gracias

My father, Rocco Risucci was born there in 1897 and left in 1916 for the USA. His father was Luigi Risucci and his mother was Carmela Marsica. She came to the USA too. My father's last known relative was a nephew also named Luigi Risucci who worked in the city hall. I believe he had children.My mother, Rose Cerone, was born there in 1907. Her father was Antonio Cerone who came to the USA circa 1907. My mother and her mother came to the USA in 1909. I would be pleased to know if there are any relatives still living in the area. SOLIMENA Giuseppe Antonio and I would like to know if you help me in my

So, I leave you more infomations about my family:
My grandfather's parents were : SOLIMENA Leonardo was born 22/02/1911
and dead 27/04/1984 in PSG married with SUGLIA Maria the 10/03/1932 in PSG.
She was born 20/02/1911 and dead in 24/12/1995 in PSG. They are the
parents of SOLIMENA Giuseppe Antonio.

SOLIMENA Leonardo's father was : SOLIMENA Giuseppe was born 07/01/1872
in PSG and married with TRAMA Maria Michela in 09/05/1898
So I would like to know who were SOLIMENA Giuseppe's parents were and more
If you can? My goal is to search the link with the famous peinter Francesco
SOLIMENA, it will be wonderful !

es de Venosa, Pcia.de Potenza, Región Basilicata. Tal vez puedas
ayudarme a formar mi árbol genealógico. Mi bisabuelo nació en
Venosa el 16 de diciembre de 1844 y su nombre era Gerardo LAVORANO,
hijo de Saverio Lavorano y Rosa Pinto/a. Desde la Catedral de
Venosa me envían la copia de su Fe de Bautismo con el apellido
LAURANO, me dicen que por ser una lengua moderna el italiano y
derivada del latín es probable se haya transformado en LAVORANO,
que me parece muy coherente. En su acta de matrimonio, que me envía
la comuna, el apellido figura como LAVORANO. Hasta él llegué, pero
me gustaría saber más de Saverio, sus ramas, etc. Por otro lado tal
vez tú puedas decirme desde qué fecha funciona el Stato Civile de
Venosa. Muy agradecida por todo lo que puedas brindarme.

In all my years of genealogy research I find it easier to find a distant cousin here in the states (4^th, 5^th, 6^th, etc)… It’s not so easy to find one that is not so distant. I think it is truly amazing Anthony was able to contact us. Your generosity you offer for the sake of “familia” is greatly appreciated. I try to do the same here in the states.
